What’s the difference between the Dual Occupancy and Knockdown Rebuild ranges
Dual occupancy designs means there are two homes that are adjoined to each other on the same block of land. Whereas our knockdown rebuild designs are a range of standalone floor plans.

Who is dual occupancy suited for?
Our DUO range is a smart development solution for a large range of different buyers. The option to rent or sell the other home allows owners to capitalise on high land and property values, the flexibility of an extra income stream and the potential benefits from diversifying investment options.
• Previous Masterpiece clients have included:
• First time investors and experienced property developers.
• Downsizers looking to move into a more manageable home with less upkeep.
• Extended families who need flexible living arrangements.
• Parents looking to help adult children get a foot in the property market.
• Young professionals and growing families looking to establish themselves in one of Melbourne’s most sought-after areas.
• Talk to our team now to see if dual occupancy is the right fit for you.
What are the benefits of a Knockdown Rebuild with Masterpiece?
In most cases, our clients need to undertake ‘knocking down’ or demolishing an existing home or structure on their block of land before they’re able to start building. Choosing to knock-down and rebuild can provide a more time and cost-effective pathway to achieving your dream home, especially when compared to the unexpected surprises that come with undertaking large-scale renovations. As specialists in knock-down rebuilds in Melbourne, we’ll guide you through all the necessary permits and approvals to get your development underway.
